Rain the Growth Agency Locks in High-Profile Deal with YouTube

Rain the Growth Agency, the leading independent, women-led, direct-to-consumer advertising agency, has achieved another major accomplishment within its omnichannel media practice by executing a high-profile media buy with YouTube on behalf of its largest client.

The media buy guarantees placements on the top 5% of content on YouTube, known as YouTube Select, along with inventory on YouTube TV, the streaming platform’s live TV solution. The deal was negotiated directly between the agency and Google’s sales team, and was largely made possible because of the tremendous strides the agency has made in establishing its client portfolio as a prominent cohort of DTC advertisers utilizing Google properties like YouTube.

“Our hope is in the long term, if we are able to secure more of these types of deals, that we may eventually be able to achieve an agency level agreement as we do with many of our other media partners,” said Garrett Browne, Associate Director of Paid Search, whose team manages all media buys related to Google’s properties, including YouTube. “When the media is proven to move the needle for our clients we want to lock it in to ensure as much stability as possible.”

Rain the Growth Agency’s proprietary marketing mix modeling tools validated the impact that these media have had in growing several clients’ businesses. Additional audience reach, brand lift and search lift studies will also be deployed.

The full-service agency continues to evolve by making key hires within its organization, specifically by adding experts in digital channels like programmatic display and video. Rain the Growth Agency is recognized as a Premier Google Partner and Facebook Marketing Partner
