Dozens of pre-production pie tests later, Rain the Growth Agency proved that a simple idea needs executional meticulousness to truly break through.

Through a Strategic Planning Framework session, a brand & messaging platform was developed that clearly articulated Pie’s position in the market. Part of the messaging strategy was getting the attention of our audience in order to jolt them into awareness of Pie’s cost-saving offering. We explored a range of concepts—from lightly humorous to downright wacky—but in the end, the oldest gag in the book just seemed to make the most sense.
