Anne Smith Rainey has enjoyed over two decades in client management and strategy roles at a range of agencies, small and large. She has elevated brands, launched new products, and solved myriad marketing problems in a variety of categories, including healthcare, pharma, technology, food/ beverage, QSR, and financial services. Anne joined Rain the Growth Agency in 2017 and provides leadership across all client engagements working with the team to set the strategy and approach for campaigns, ensuring client objectives are met, and results are delivered. In addition to day-to-day management of key accounts, Anne helps to lead the Client Service department, offering management and mentorship to the team.
Prior to joining Rain, she spent five years as an agency owner for two independent agencies in San Francisco and Oakland. After graduating with a BA from Marquette University, she ventured to Los Angeles and launched her career working for boutique creative agencies before moving to San Francisco and joining global network agencies including JWT, MRM/McCann, HAVAS and Publicis Groupe. She lives in Oakland, CA and in her spare time loves to cook, work on learning other languages, and travel as much as possible.
