Pro Triathlete Matt Russell Takes Active Recovery to Next Level with OOFOS Footwear

Russell is widely known for his miraculous comeback to the sport after a life-threatening accident during the Ironman World Championship.

The new, fully integrated creative and media campaign showcases the role OOFOS footwear plays in Matt’s rigorous, high-volume training regimen. Though he has been focused on fitness optimization since his youth, recovery took on a new meaning after a van struck him at 35 mph during the bike leg of the 2017 Ironman World Championship. He not only was able to come back to the sport but finish in sixth place in the same competition in 2018 – less than a year after his accident.
