News & Updates

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – April 4, 2016 – R2C Group announced today that former Managing Partner Chris Peterson has re-joined the agency. Peterson, who held the same title from April 2008-December 2012, will lead key accounts and optimize revenue growth and performance for clients, operating out of the agency’s San Francisco office. He will report to R2C Group’s CEO and Co-Founder Michelle Cardinal.

Peterson’s career spans over 30 years of performance-oriented marketing, dedicated to scaling businesses. He has consistently innovated with a focus on strategy and emerging trends and technologies, having worked with some of the world’s largest brands including: GE, Microsoft, and Vonage. With an expertise in P&L management, growing businesses, and customer relationship management, Peterson will, once again, help drive profitability and exposure for clients at R2C Group.

Before re-joining the agency, Peterson was working in mobile application development. Prior, he oversaw R2C Group’s entire digital practice, having worked with broadcast clients, like Humana and TiVo, to optimize revenue growth and brand strategies. Peterson founded Chautauqua Communications, an early content agency designed to address how consumers form opinions. The company was acquired by R2C Group in 2008. Earlier, at Publicis, Peterson ran the North American direct and digital division with clients such as Whirlpool, Google, and Sprint. In the late 1980s, he founded FusionDM, an early digital and relationship-marketing agency, which was acquired by Publicis Groupe in 2001.

“I am thrilled to be back to R2C Group, spearheading performance, new business, and marketing efforts for clients,” said Peterson. “Three years ago, I was inspired by the agency’s talented pool of individuals rolling out remarkable results, and I can’t wait to dive back in to create more successes. The agency feels like home to me.”

“Chris’ enthusiasm for bringing businesses to greatness is infectious,” said Michelle Cardinal, CEO and Co-Founder of R2C Group. “He was instrumental in bringing on several of R2C Group’s largest accounts. We welcome him back with open arms and with the excitement of future successes ahead.”
